The Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University offers a variety of major and minor programs designed to prepare students for exciting and rewarding careers. Our undergraduate program includes core computer science and foundational math courses that will prepare you for specialized studies in data science, AI, cybersecurity, and software engineering. You can earn a bachelor’s of science or a bachelor’s of arts in computer science. We also offer minors in AI and computer science.
