Two students receive Teaching Excellence awards

Facundo Bromberg and Xia Wang have been awarded Iowa State University's Graduate Teaching Excellence Awards. The award honors students whose teaching accomplishments place them among the top 10 percent of all graduate students at Iowa State University. 

Facundo Bromberg is working towards his Ph.D. in distributed autonomous supervised learning under the supervision of Dimitris Margaritis. He has been a teaching assistant for the graduate level courses Machine Learning and Theory of Games, Knowledge, and Uncertainty and for the undergraduate level courses Design & Analysis of Algorithms and Principles of Programming Languages. 

Xia Wang is working toward her Ph.D. in computer and network security for the wireless mobile network environment under the supervision of Johnny Wong. She has been a teaching assistant for the undergraduate level courses Computer-Based Information Management Systems and Fundamental Concepts in Computer Networks.
