Tichakorn Wongpiromsarn receives NSF CAREER Award

Nok WongpiromsarnAssistant Professor Tichakorn (Nok) Wongpiromsarm received a National Science Foundation CAREER award, the highest honor awarded to junior faculty. 

Nok's proposal, titled, "CAREER: Establishing correctness of learning-enabled autonomous systems with conflicting requirements" looks into the dependability of autonomous systems.

The National Science Foundation CAREER awards, presented by the National Science Foundation (NSF), are in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through research and education, and the integration of these endeavors in the context of their organizations' missions. The awards are presented once each year, including a federal grant for research and education activities for five consecutive years.

Nok is the 10th member of the Department's faculty to receive this high honor.
