Ryan Babbitt gave a talk on Privacy Management at ICADI 2006

Ryan Babbitt, Dr. Johnny Wong and Dr. Carl Chang, attended the International Conference on Aging, Disability, and Independence (ICADI) at St. Petersburg, Florida, in February 1-5, 2006. Ryan presented their paper (by Ryan Babbitt, Johnny Wong, Simanta Mitra and Carl Chang) on privacy management for Smart Homes, which enables inhabitants to control the usage and flow of personal information. 

Upon request, he also presented his work in a pre-conference workshop and chaired one of the smart home sessions. Before returning to ISU, he and Dr. Chang traveled to the University of Florida in Gainsville and took tours of a state of the art assistive care facility and thefully-constructed, fully-operational Gator Tech Smart House.
