Yongyun Song

Yongyun Song is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University. He specialized in Computer Vision and Robotics. His research spans deep learning areas, including 3D reconstruction, 2D object detection, and segmentation, cultivated during his undergraduate research internship. He enriched his skills at the Korea Electric Power Corporation, connecting Simultaneous Localization and Mapping algorithm with robotics and embedded systems. Additionally, he integrated a 3D view synthesis method, such as Neural Radiance Field with cloud computing during his SAP internship.
