Ying Cai

Ying Cai received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Central Florida in 2002. He joined the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University in 2003 and is now an associate professor there. His current research interests include database management, security, and privacy.

Research Opportunity: Dr. Cai is recruiting graduate students for a research project on authentication data structures for rank-aware queries, funded by the Air Force Research Laboratory. Applicants should have a strong background in programming and mathematics, with expertise in linear algebra and cryptography.
