Xiang Ma

Xiang Ma is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University. He is working at the intersection of deep learning, biochemistry, material science and quantum computation under the supervision of Dr. Qi Li. His Ph.D. research focuses on the development of novel machine learning and deep learning techniques for the prediction of protein functions and structures, molecular design of new drugs, and a systematic understanding of biological pathways.
