Srijita Chandra

Srijita is a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University, where she focuses on the intersection of software engineering and bioinformatics. She is currently a graduate research assistant with the Swine Disease Reporting System team in the VDPAM department. Under the co-advisement of Dr. Xiaoqiu Huang from the Computer Science department and Dr. Giovani Trevisan from Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine, Srijita is developing a scalable and robust database system designed for real-time monitoring of PRRS virus ORF-5 data, contributing to the advancement of disease tracking and management in swine populations.
