Shahrzad Esmat is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University, working in the AI and HPC Lab under the supervision of Dr. Ali Jannesari. Her research focuses on generative AI in computer vision, where she utilizes high performance computing (HPC) techniques to improve the efficiency and scalability of Vision Transformers (ViTs). She is particularly focused on exploring innovative methods to enhance the scalability and performance of Vision Transformers (ViTs), aiming to push the boundaries of what's possible in automated visual recognition and analysis.
