Duy Phuong Nguyen is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University. He is currently working in the SwAPP Lab under the supervision of Dr. Ali Jannesari. He specializes in federated learning and multimodal models. His work includes developing and advancing techniques in heterogeneous federated learning through model compression and knowledge extraction.
