Mirza Sanjida Alam received her B.Sc. Engineering degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. She has participated in several inter-university and national programming contests and secured a coveted gold medal in the National Girls' Programming Contest in 2017. Sanjida completed her undergraduate thesis work on Photonic Crystal Fiber where she investigated the impact of wavelength and temperature sensitivity on water. The outcome of this research work has been published in OSA Continuum.  Currently, Sanjida is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Iowa State University. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning. She is working in the Program Analysis & AI Lab directed by Dr. Wei Le. Her current research work focuses on automatically detecting, diagnosing and fixing bugs/vulnerabilities in software.
