Yaojie (Jason) Hu is a Ph. D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University, advised by Dr. Jin Tian. Jason’s research topic is neuro-symbolic learning, the integration between two AI paradigms: symbolic reasoning and deep learning. Jason likes to think about the biggest philosophical challenges facing AI today and strives to express his philosophical view with technical problem definitions and state-of-the-art AI solutions. Jason has industry experience as a research scientist at Amazon AI and RelationalAI.
