Farjana Sultana Samia is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Iowa State University with a research focus on Natural Language Processing. She earned her B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Manarat International University in 2022. Following her graduation, she joined Technometrics Limited, a software company in Bangladesh, as a Software Engineer (NLP) in 2023. During her time there, she gained experience in developing advanced machine learning models, including a Bengali multi-label topic classification model and an aspect-based sentiment analysis model.
