Fahmida Imrose is a PhD student in Computer Science at Iowa State University. She holds a strong interest in Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Bioinformatics. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the development of a real-time facial expression recognition system aimed at assisting individuals inspected with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) leveraging deep learning techniques with a view to overcoming the discrepancies of the emotional expressions while they differ significantly from typical patterns.
