Chandeepa Dissanayake is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University, working as a research assistant under Dr. Liyi Li. His research interests include quantum simulations, quantum algorithms, and broader topics in quantum computing. He earned his B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Computer Science from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, in 2023. Outside of academia, he dreams of a scenic summer road trip through the Swiss Alps—Switzerland holds a special place in his heart.
