Ahmed F Elghareeb

Ahmed Elghareeb is a Ph.D student in the Computer Science department at Iowa State University.  He is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Ahmed's focus in research is based on different subfields including Computer Vision, Deep Learning (DL), and Data Analysis. With several research projects under the umbrella of DL and Human Activity Recognition (HAR), his major project of graduation, named "Virtual Trainer", aims to address the problem of online coaching, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic consequences, to supervise new trainees and assess their performance based on a multi-modal system. Ahmed aims to leverage the influence of Machine Learning on prevailing problems.
