Ali Jannesari Awarded NSF Grant

Ali Jannesari, an Associate Professor of Computer Science, has been awarded a $420,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for his research “Generating Highly Performant Code via Polyhedral Compilation and Graph-based Learning.” The project duration is for three years.

The project aims to develop a framework that can automatically parallelize programs by leveraging a graph-based multimodal learning approach to enhance their efficiency on modern high-performance computing (HPC) architectures. This research will result in the creation of faster, more reliable, and purpose-driven programs, addressing the growing demands of modern HPC platforms and AI technologies.
