On February 19th, the Department of Computer Science gave a virtual talk to the students enrolled in robotics and programming classes at Aplington-Parkersburg High School.  The students heard talks from Assistant Professor Chris Quinn, Professor Wallapak Tavanapong, and Assistant Professor Tichakorn Wongpiromsarn about their passion for computer science and its significant impact on society and the world.  Their talks gave examples of departmental research in autonomous driving, network analysis, and Artificial Intelligence in healthcare.  After the presentation, graduate student Xiaoqian Mu and academic advisor Lauren Henry joined in to answer the students' questions.
