Dr. Jia (Kevin) Liu has two papers accepted by IEEE INFOCOM 2020 (acceptance rate: 19.8%). One paper is on exploring best arm with top reward-cost ratio in multi-armed bandits, while the other is on network-distributed learning with differential-coded compressors.
ACM WWW 2020 (acceptance rate: 25%) also accepted Liu’s paper on influence-function-based data poisoning attacks to recommender systems.
Liu gave two talks in early January at two prominent universities in China: Sun Yat-Sen University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong at Shenzhen.
