Dr. Johnny Wong, Professor and Associate Chair of Computer Science, has been appointed Interim Department Chair by LAS Dean Schmittmann for July 1 - December 31, 2013. Dr. Wong has been a faculty member in Computer Science since 1987. He has served as Associate Chair since 2004.
Gianfranco Ciardo, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, will begin his appointment as the new Department Chair of Computer Science on January 1, 2014.
