Professor Carl Chang delivered the first distinguished lecture Towards in situ Software Engineering Technologies on October 10 in a series of four lectures at Peking University in China, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science that was formed after consolidation of three academic units in 2002 at Peking University. As a long-time collaborator with Dean Hong Mei, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Chang initiated invitations to several well known researchers for this DL series to congratulate Prof. Mei's achievements and celebrate the 10th anniversary of the EECS School under Dean Mei's leaderdhip. Chang was joined by Professor Elisa Bertino of Purdue University, Professor Sumi Helal of University of Florida at Gainesville, and Professor Ouri Wolfson of University of Illinois at Chicago. Each delivered a talk during October.
