Jansel Herrera-Gerena

Jansel Herrera-Gerena is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State,  specializing in Contrastive Learning. His research enhances model pretraining and data understanding through these methods. With practical experience from an internship at Musco Sports Lighting, he has honed his skills in computational perception and Contrastive Learning techniques. Jansel focuses on bridging theory and real-world applications in machine learning.
