Requirements
Students pursuing graduate degrees outside of the Department of Computer Science can obtain a graduate minor in artificial intelligence. It consists of at least 9 credit hours of core AI courses and 6 credit hours of elective AI-related courses.

How to Officially Add a Minor
At this time, students must email the Graduate Student Services Specialist (nlewis1@iastate.edu) and request permission to add a graduate minor. The GSSS will work with the Graduate College to have this manually added in Workday. There will be updates in the future for students to do this on their own in Workday.
