First Annual Freshmen Trip to Cargill

On February 8th, twelve undergrads spent the entire day at Cargill's office at Minnetonka, Minnesota job-shadowing COMS alumni! This trip provided freshmen a unique opportunity to see for themselves the varied activities IT employees are engaged in on a day-to-day basis. The feedback has been very positive from all sides and will be held again next year. 

Gloria Cain (the COMS undergraduate advisor) was at hand to provide guidance to 
the students. Aditya Dhananjay, a graduate students in COMS, also participated 
in the event. Dr. Simanta Mitra, Advisor for the ISU Computer Science Club, was instrumental in helping to set up this trip.
