About Sarah Miller

As a Sr. Technical Fellow in Software Engineering, RTX Certified Architect and Licensed Professional Engineer, Sarah Miller is currently the Avionics strategic business unit Business and Regional Aircraft Software Architect in Cedar Rapids, IA, where she leads updating Flight Management System architecture including adopting Digital Engineering and DevOps for flight safety certified software. Sarah joined the company in 2002 and developed software defined radio products for Collins Aerospace, specializing in the embedment of cryptographic devices, embedded programming, and software integration. Sarah led the incorporation of open standard technologies such as Open Mission Systems (OMS), Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) into Collins Aerospace communications products. Prior to her current assignment, Sarah served as the Mission Systems Digital Engineering discipline chief advancing engineering practices across Collins.
