DESCRIPTION:Asymmetric Phylogenetic costs and their application in coevolut
ionary analysisCoevolutionary studies aim to characterize symbiotic intera
ctions by using phylogenetic distances to evaluate the topological discord
ance between the phylogenies of interacting taxa. However\, traditional ph
ylogenetic distances are not ideal for capturing asymmetrical relationship
s that can arise from biological factors\, such as differences in evolutio
nary rates\, or systematic factors\, such as variations in sampling. To ad
dress these limitations\, we introduced the Asymmetric Cluster Affinity (A
CA) and Asymmetric Cluster Support (ACS) costs to quantify and represent a
symmetrical phylogenetic relationships.\n\nMore information at: https://ww
