Vylor is the new advanced seed and genetics company spinning off from Corteva in late 2026; headquartered in Johnston, Iowa, home of the flagship Pioneer brand and more than a century of agricultural innovation.  Vylor is investing heavily in the data platforms, data science, and AI that will power its next century of work with farmers.

In this session, Fletcher Werner (AI Architect, formerly Principal Data Scientist) and Dallas Dickey (Data Strategy Leader) will walk through how data platforms, data science, and agentic AI come together behind the scenes — from the pipelines and models that keep a global seed supply chain moving, to the AI assistants and agents now being built on top of them.

Expect a candid look at the real engineering and architecture problems the team is working on today, how a Fortune 500 ag company is standing up an AI-ready data foundation, and where computer science graduates fit into that work — as software engineers, ML engineers, data engineers, and applied researchers. We'll leave the last 15 minutes for Q&A: bring questions about the tech, the career paths, internships, or what it's like to build AI in an industry most people don't associate with software.
