Social Robots
The rising prominence of social bots aligns with the widespread incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) into various aspects of our daily lives and applications. These automated agents, designed to simplify repetitive tasks, are now prevalent on platforms such as Wikipedia, Facebook, and Twitter. This research, however, concentrates specifically on Twitter bots. On this platform, bots frequently function discreetly, hiding their true identities. Unfortunately, some exploit this anonymity to spread misinformation and disinformation. In this study, our attention is specifically directed towards Twitter bots, with a detailed examination of their varied forms.
