CS students attend conference for women in computing

Last week a group of CS students were able to attend the Grace Hopper conference in Florida. Grace Hopper is a conference for female students in Computer Science, designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront.

Amazon's Robotics A.I. Group donated robot hand to Robotics Lab

Shadow handAmazon's Robotics A.I. Group recently made a generous donation to the Department's Robotics Lab for research usage. The donated robotic hand, called a Shadow Hand, equipped with a BioTac sensor in each fingertip, is valued at $180,000.
