The Summer School will include tutorials on an intro to data science, data science using R, Mathematics of data science, visualization, and an intro to deep learning. Tentative tracks for the summer school include fairness in data science, data mining and machine learning, and digital agriculture

The Midwest Big Data Summer School for Early Career Researchers designed as an intensive curriculum aimed at practitioners and researchers to get them started in data-driven research and development. Please check back on this page periodically for updates on the finalized schedule.

May 16th:

If you would like to present a poster at the Summer School, please register before April 29th, 2022. 

 

Venue:

The Midwest Big Data Summer School will held in-person at Iowa State University, from May 16th - May 19th, 2022. 

Partial travel support is possible for non-ISU students, subject to availability of funds. To be considered, please register for before April 25th, 2022.
