Research

My current interests are related with exploration of protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions as well as in protein structure and function prediction based on sequence and structural features and using different machine learning techniques.

I worked with Feihong Wu in the development of a relational database of protein-protein interfaces information called protein-protein interface database (PPIDB) as a neccesary step to gather data to be used for predicting such interfaces.

Currently, I am working in the characterisation of Protein interfaces to improve the prediction of interface residues.
