Obvious improvement could be made to this algorithm and streaming lining the code is possible. A nice graphical user interface would be helpful, especially one with a pull down menu so that the user knows he or she uses math_cs_faculty instead of cs_math_faculty. This would aid in the rule creation, since these are the same attribute values.

An email interface to help schedule events is a future improvement of this personal assistant. There could also be a network of schedulers, so that Professor A could schedule a meeting with Professors B and C according to the preferences of all involved. The CAP learner of Mitchell, et al., uses a broader collection of data and takes this into account[4].

Simple user desirable features such as not allowing scheduling conflicts and suggesting alternatives for all when conflicts arise would make the personal assistant more user-friendly as well [1].
