Profile
I defended my Ph.D. thesis in Spring 2009 and my thesis title is "A Systematic Security Approach for Wireless Mesh Networks". My advisor is Prof. Johnny Wong.
Now I work for Google Inc.
My research interests include wireless (ad-hoc/mesh) networking and security, intrusion detection, intrusion response, key management, and congestion control.
My work is related to the following research topics:
- Security Mechanisms in Wireless Mesh Networks
- Heterogeneity-aware framework for group key management in wireless mesh networks
- Intrusion detection and intrusion response in wireless mesh network
- Apply maching learning algorithm in IDS
- Cross-layer design of IDS in multi-radio wireless mesh networks
- Intrusion Detection in Wireless Ad-hoc Networks
- Hybrid intrusion detection techniques in wireless ad hoc networks
- End-to-end detection of wormhole attack
- Machine learning method in feature selection
- TCP Performance and Congestion Control for Wireless Networks
- Proposed TCP-Eaglet protocol to improve TCP performance in wireless networks
