Profile

I am a Ph.D. candidate of Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University. My advisor is Prof. Johnny Wong.

My research interests include wireless (ad-hoc/mesh) networking and security, network security, intrusion detection, key management, congestion control.

My work is related to the following research topics:
  • Security Mechanisms in Wireless Mesh Networks
    • Heterogeneity-aware framework for group key management in wireless mesh networks
    • Intrusion detection and intrusion response in wireless mesh network
  • Intrusion Detection in Wireless Ad-hoc Networks
    • Hybrid intrusion detection techniques in wireless ad hoc networks
    • End-to-end detection of wormhole attack
    • Machine learning method in feature selection
  • TCP Performance and Congestion Control for Wireless Networks
    • Proposed TCP-Eaglet protocol to improve TCP performance in wireless networks
