Jyotishman Pathak received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in August, 2007 from Iowa State University (Ames) under the guidance of professor Vasant Honavar. Prior to this, he received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Regional Engineering College (Jamshedpur) in July, 2002. He joined the Divison of Biomedical Informatics at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine (Rochester) in September, 2007 where he is presently a research associate & instructor. His research interests include:

• I attended the Fall-2007 convocation ceremony today, and along with the doctorate degree was awarded ISU's Research Excellence Award which is given to about 10% of graduating students! Here is a picture with my hood: link. (Posted on: 12/14/2007)
• I had my Ph.D. defense today after 5 amazing years at the A.I. Lab. My dissertation and defense presentation are available at here and here. (Posted on: 08/22/2007).
• A project on Web Services (MoSCoE) was recently funded by the National Science Foundation (award# 0702758) and came in the news. (Posted on: 08/13/2007).
• I am one of the co-organizers of 2007 IBM Ph.D. Student Symposium (ICSOC PhD 2007) held in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing (ICSOC-2007) at Vienna, Austria. (Posted on: 05/09/07).
