World Cultural Heritage Site

The birthplace of Taoism, Mount Qingcheng has a name "Green City Mountain" which also suggests that it is beautifully forrested. Its front face is celebrated in a series of ancient temples. The rear face offers steeper gradients, narrower paths, and more beautiful scenery.
