Music

I started to play the violin at the age of 6. I passed the Grade 8 exam from Trinity College London in 1998 under the guidance of my violin teacher - John Fennell - who owns and leads the Starlight String Quartet in New Zealand.

I was the school orchestra's concert master during my last year of high school. I also participated in several others orchestras during my high school years and the first two years of college, including Aotea Youth Orchestra (1997-1999), Auckland Youth Orchestra (2000-2001), and also New Zealand Secondary Schools Symphony Orchestra (2001).
