The Perceptron Membrane

Short Description

The perceptron membrane is a new connectionist model that aims at solving classification problems with piecewise linear surfaces. The discrimination surfaces of perceptron membranes are defined by the union of convex polyhedrons. By recruitment/elimination/regularization of perceptrons, the perceptron membrane can reach a good compromise between bias and variance.
