I was born in Calcutta, West Bengal on the 14th of September 1982. After spending my first couple of years at Calcutta (primarily because my dad was deputed there during that period), we settled in Chennai.
Family
My father retired from Bank service as a Manager. My mother is a home maker. I have two sisters, both married, as a result of which I also have two brothers(in-law), a wonderful niece and a wonderful nephew. Our family is technically classified as Iyer. Our native traces back to Parithiyur, a village on the banks of the Kaveri River near Kumbakonam, the temple town, Thanjavur District.
