Biography

Now

I am a full-time lecturer at Department of Computer Engineering, Dongseo University, South Korea. I was a senior member of engineering staff in Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, South Korea.
I earned Ph.D. degree at Iowa State University, in the Computer Science Department, working at Center for Computational Intelligence, Learning and Discovery (CILD) under the supervision of Dr. Vasant Honavar.
My primary research interest is taxonomy (ontology) learning for machine learning/data mining and bag of values representation for security informatics. My current work has focused on receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and multi-relational learning.

Before joining Iowa State University, I worked at a Bay-area startup company in USA and at Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute (ETRI) in South Korea.
