Online Orientation

Fo For the summer class, students only need to attend the online orientation within Blackboard.  No face-to-face orientation. 
     For sections 1-2 on campus classes, students must take 6 tests in room 60 Carver Test Center at Iowa State University.  The 6 tests include 4 hands-on simulation tests in the SAM2010 environment, and the Mid-Term and Final Exams.  Please do not register for sections 1 or 2 if you can not take these 6 tests in the test center.  The schedule has been posted under the "Carver Test Center Schedule" link on the menu.

For section XW off campus class, students must take 6 tests in a proctored environment. Students in the section XW do not need to take the SAM2010 hands-on simulation tests. All of the tests are written tests (multiple choice). The detailed information will be posted within Blackboard class and ISU continue education website.

    It is the department's policy that students should not switch sections once the course starts.
