Bio:

I am starting my final semester as a PhD student at Iowa State University, in the Computer Science Department, working at Center for Computational Intelligence, Learning and Discovery under the supervision of Dr. Vasant Honavar.

My primary research interest is machine learning and bioinformatics, with emphasis on building classifiers from alternative representations of protein sequences. My current work has focused on predicting protein function, subcellular localization, structure, and functional misannotations.
