Author A. Collins Education Fund in Computer Science - $1,000/year for one undergraduate student and $1,500/year for one graduate student. Requirements: GPA of 3.0, a demonstrated leadership position in campus organizations and community affairs, and recommendations from faculty and advisors. Preference given to Iowa residents and US citizens.

John Vincent Atanasoff Graduate Award - Varying amount- Awarded to an outstanding graduate student to encourage continuation of study for the PhD. degree. This endowment was made in the memory of Clark Mollenhoff by the Atanasoffs.

Caterpillar Computer Sciences Fund - Two $2,500 scholarships. Requirements: Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above, and recommendation of advisors and faculty. Additional consideration given to diversity/minority students and students involved in activities supporting the department, other students, or the community.

Principal Financial Scholarship Fund - Four undergraduate scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each. Requirements: US citizenship or permanent residency required, a minimum GPA of 3.0, Junior of Senior status. Preference should be given to officers/leaders of student-run organizations, students who demonstrate strong community involvement, and minority students.

Deere Computer Science Diversity Scholarship - Three $2,000 scholarships. Requirements: Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above. Additional consideration given to diversity/minority students and students involved in activities supporting the department, other students, or the community.

Thomson Reuter Computer Science Scholarship - These are two non-recurring, annual scholarships of $ 2,375. As a onetime scholarship, receipt of the award one year is no guarantee of success in a subsequent year.

Computer Science Scholarship Fund - Three scholarships, one for an outstanding Junior student, one for an outstanding sophomore student and a third for any qualifying student who meets the general criteria of minimum GPA of 3.0 or above, and recommendation of advisors and faculty. Additional consideration given to students involved in activities supporting the department, other students, or the community.

Dr. Robert Stewart Early Research Recognition Awards - Given to graduate students with CS major.Recipients shall be taking on a research subject with very high risk.

Lawrence P. Beninga Trust - $1,000/year for one undergraduate student. Requirements: None specified.
