Abstract:

Electroencephalogram (EEG) data research is embarked largely in the recent decades, various devices or solutions are developed in the recent years to make EEG data collection more convenient and powerful. In the near future, large size of EEG data could be collected, stored, and analyzed to benefit various aspects of scientific research and industrial application. However, the current publicly available solutions have limitations when in the case of dealing with the large size of EEG data. Benefited by the rapid growing of cloud computing and distributed software technology, the cloud computing technology is introduced in the area of collecting EEG data and analysis the data. In this paper, cutting-edge popular big data frameworks or tools are used to build an EEG data pipeline for BCI device named OpenBCI.
