Excerpts from the Court PapersThis document contains a selection of pages from Judge Larson's historic decision which concludes that John Vincent Atanasoff is the legal inventor of the electronic digital computer. In this case Honeywell, Inc. originally charged Sperry Rand Corporation with enforcement of a fraudulent patent. The case soon took on an interesting twist as John Vincent Atanasoff's research was brought into the picture which revealed that Mauchly borrowed ideas from him. The document scanned is a photocopy of the original decision written by Judge Earl Richard Larson presiding over the United States District Court, District of Minnesota, Fourth Division. The document is referenced as "File NO. 4-67 CIV. 138". Excerpts from the document
