Hridesh Rajan and Jin Tian Honored at 2010 Fall Convocation

Hridesh Rajan was honored at the ISU 2010 Fall Convocation with the Early Achievement in Research Award. Rajan is also the recipient of a recent NSF grant for his work in programming languages and a 2009 NSF CAREER Award. Rajan directs the laboratory for software design at ISU, which conducts research in programming languages and software engineering. 

Jin Tian was also honored at the Fall Convocation for his 2010 promotion to Associate Professor. Tian is also an NSF CAREER Award winner (2004) for his work in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with focus on graphical models, Bayesian networks, probabilistic reasoning, and causal inference.
