LES MILLER (miller@cs.iastate.edu)

Professor of Computer Science

Major Interests: Object oriented databases, Organizational decision support systems, Database semantics, Parallel searching methods, Database design, Neural Nets.

Current Research: We are extending the concepts of our object-oriented/relational interface into a multidatabase system. We are currently looking at the use of frameworks to implement our Zeus multidatabase system. The interaction and implementation of multimedia databases is another topic that we are currently working on.
