Associate Professor of Computer Science

Major Interests: Computer Architecture, Parallel and Distributed Processing, Performance of Computer Systems, Neural Networks.

Current Research: Dr. Kothari is interested in parallel and distributed computing and its applications in science and engineering. Specific topics of interest are: tools for parallelization of large-scale application programs, performance models, and distributed processing.

Dr. Kothari is also interested in neural networks and MARS (Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines) and its applications to Inverse Problems in signal processing.
