Zach Ellsbury Internship at Jet Set Studio

Zach Ellsbury was helping out as a volunteer at a video game tournament when he met the people from Jet Set Studio in Des Moines. He kept in contact with them and eventually started an internship for the gaming company in summer 2008. For his internship, Zach worked on a team that developed a fully functioning social networking website for gamers, GatheringofGamers.com, as well as running live events all around the country. Zach and the Jet Set Studio team have managed events for companies such as Microsoft, Brocade, and IBM. "It's great being able to fly across the country running video gaming events, and earn college credit in the process," he says. Zach plans on building his career in the gaming industry after graduating with his BS in Computer Science at ISU.
