Pragmatics, Inc., founded by CEO Dr. Long Nguyen, a distinguished ISU Computer Science alumnus, has been externally assessed at Level 4 of the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model/Capability Model Maturity Integration (SEI CMM/CMMI): "Quantitative Measurement versus Quantitative Management", which is providing customers with improved understanding of risks associated with projects, better understanding of impact of changes, and improved usage of lessons learned. Data from the SEI indicates CMMI Level 4 gives customers added value by having an estimated 20% less in cost, a 37% decrease in scheduled time, a 62% improvement in productivity, a 50% boost in quality, and a 14% increase of customer satisfaction. Along with Level 4 SEI CMM/CMMI assessment, Pragmatics is also registered with the International Standards Organization as fully compliant with ISO Standard 9001:2000, thus providing customers with standard processes and procedures, proven tools, as well as trained and experienced staff that minimize risk and assure delivery of all projects on time and within budget through a robust, audited Quality Management System (QMS). For over twenty years, Pragmatics, Inc. has provided state-of-the-art solutions for the Federal Government, providing software engineering, systems engineering, information assurance, program management, and network operations and management services. Pragmatics is headquartered in McLean, Virginia. Please join us to congratulate Dr. Nguyen for the great achievement of his company.
